| Dell to Sell Cheap Desktop PCs in China
SHANGHAI -(Dow Jones)- Dell Inc. (DELL), aiming to boost sales in rapidly growing developing countries, Wednesday unveiled a new, compact and inexpensive desktop personal computer designed for first-time buyers and novice users who want to connect to the Internet. Dell's chief executive officer, Michael Dell, said the new computer, whose base price will be about $333, would be sold first here in China, one of the world's fastest growing PC markets. Dell then plans to introduce it in other countries, including India and Brazil. The computer, which Dell calls the EC280, "was designed with China and other key markets in mind," Mr. Dell said. He said Dell is striving to "adjust our business to meet the needs of customers in fast-growing and emerging markets." Designed by engineers in Shanghai, the EC280 features an Intel 205 microprocessor, and will cost between $333 and $513, depending on the specifications of the monitor, hard drive and memory chips.
Jones is up there with Nugent as my best buy, says Davies as Rams ...
Championship leaders Derby are desperately hoping inspirational midfielder David Jones, a player manager Billy Davies says ranks alongside David Nugent as one of his best-ever signings, will be fit to face rivals Leicester in tomorrow's Good Friday showdown. Jones is doubtful due to a calf strain, and the 1m capture who has impressed since joining Derby from Manchester United, would be a big miss for the Rams as they look to extend their lead at the top of the table with a club record 13th away win of an unbelievable season. The 22-year-old, who arrived on loan in mid-November before completing a 1m move in January, has scored six crucial goals in 24 starts and he's showing the sort of quality that might, one day, make United regret allowing him to leave Old Trafford.
Jackson Breaks Down the Finals
They're extremely talented and skilled and I think Schneider's playing on top of his game, which makes them pretty balanced. "They're a good puck-control team, which is the best defense." Jackson said that playing against Michigan State can be frustrating, which is also how many people would describe playing against the Irish. "The biggest challenge will be, the way Michgian State plays, they're extremely balanced, they're extremely strong defensively," Jackson said. "As long as Boston College doesn't get frustrated and impatient with the puck, they can have success. But generally high-skilled teams get impatient when they don't get a chance to carry the puck into the zone. They're going to have to make the decision at times to dump it in." When the Irish played BC, Eagles captain Brian Boyle was still playing forward.
